Modern Noir Elegance – Kitchen & Fireplace Remodel (Part 2: Construction & Completion)

In Part 1 of this project feature, we shared how our team guided the client through the initial consultation, design development, and construction documentation phases. Now, in Part 2, we’re diving into the exciting stages where the vision came to life — from demolition to the final walk-through.

This is when the actual remodeling work begins based on the finalized plans and documents. It’s the transition from paper to reality. The goal of this phase is to build exactly what’s been designed and documented, coordinate all trades to stay on time and within budget, while delivering a clean, finished, high-quality space. After this phase, there’s nothing left to do but close the project! This last and final phase is called Project Close-Out.

Other than picking your own selections and going through the design process, this usually is the client’s favorite phase! This phase is all about final cleaning, client orientation/handoff, final documentation, and final payments with close-out paperwork. Now we can finally say that this project went from “under construction” to complete and ready to use!
